Shared method: Experience → Evidence → Intelligence → Reform.

Lived knowledge, with a defined role

Problem
Institutional records rarely capture the full pathway across services, portfolios and jurisdictions.
Function
Connect people with relevant knowledge to scoped evidence and policy work, with consent, accessibility, safety and remuneration arrangements defined for each engagement.
Public value
Make handovers, missing responsibility and unintended consequences visible to decision-makers through knowledge that separate records can miss.

Contributor EOI is open. Registration does not guarantee selection or work, and participation does not establish a representative national sample or a mandate to speak for everyone.

See how contributions can inform the evidence architecture and cross-system intelligence method. The Contributor Charter sets participation boundaries.

What Contributors Do

The National Contributor Network brings together people whose knowledge can help examine public systems and the points where they meet. Contributors may be considered for specific, appropriately scoped work; submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee selection or an engagement.

Cross-system experience can include navigating transitions between justice and corrections, housing, income support, health and alcohol and other drugs services, or reintegration supports. We welcome expertise that helps make visible how policies, services and responsibilities connect in practice.

Joining the Network does not mean NLEC publicly represents you, authorises you to speak for NLEC, or adopts every contribution as an NLEC policy position. Any public use of your individual account requires a separate, informed process.

This expression of interest is for joining the contributor network, not reporting a case. To share a limited cross-system account for private staff review, use the separate consent-led intake. Neither pathway publishes an unverified report.

Follow the public evidence pathway through the Evidence Repository.

Fair Commissioned Work

Terms agreed for each engagement
